Heat Level: HOT!
One of the hottest chiles produced, the heat level will vary by the number of pods used and types and/or amount of other ingredients in a recipe. Keep in mind, Habanero can be up to 50X hotter than the jalapeno and should be used sparingly. It has a fruity flavor that mixes well with tomatoes and a variety of tropical fruit such as pineapple, mango, etc.. When choosing your pods, select chiles rich color in color, with a fresh scent. Also available in flakes, granules and powder.
